Abstract

COUTO, Aline Guimarães  and  DITTRICH, Alexandre. Feminism and behavior analysis: pathways to dialogue. Perspectivas [online]. 2017, vol.8, n.2, pp. 147-158. ISSN 2177-3548.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18761/PAC.2016.047.

Feminism, as a political theory and social movement, has been maintaining productive dialogues with science, influencing critical revisions and new ways of analyzing human behavior, even in psychology. Such influence is not consistently observed in behavior analysis' scientific publications, which relies only on sparse publications about overcoming gender inequalities. This paper briefly reviews articles about feminism in behavior analytic journals, also making some notes about the theoretical-practical approaches pointed out by these productions, intending to contribute to progresses for behavior analysis in women's studies.

Keywords : feminism; Women's studies; feminist studies; gender issues; social movements.
