The struggle to enlighten the crimes against life perpetrated by the military dictatorship in Brazil is a project of resentment? Would it be contrary to the idea of forgetfulness in Nietzsche’s philosophy? This is the problem belonging to the field of psychology we aim to discuss in a transdisciplinary perspective. Based on the concepts of forgetfulness and eternal return in Nietzsche’s philosophy, other meanings to the elucidation of the past will be brought about, relating this process to creation and building of democratic values. Contemporary political phenomena such as the diffusion of fear and the struggle for punishment are also discussed, placing the elucidation of the crimes perpetrated by state agents in Brazil in this context.
