This article intends to address the relation between the categories of body and affection in the early Freud writings whereas the period from 1890 to1897. It is also necessary to introduce the two distinct nosological panoramas described by Freud, one based on the psychic conflict and the other on the affection of anxiety. We assume that the formulations here presented can serve us as a compass to move us forward not only to a better understanding between the body and affection on psychoanalysis but also it can help us think about the presence of both body and affection in the various forms of contemporary 'malaise' as depression and compulsion.
