Abstract

PEIXOTO JUNIOR, Carlos Augusto. Sobre o corpo-afeto em espinosa e Winnicott. Rev. Epos [online]. 2013, vol.4, n.2, pp. 00-00. ISSN 2178-700X.

This article aims to discuss mainly the conceptions of body and affect in the works of Donald Winnicott and Baruch de Spinoza seeking to establish some approximations between the approaches of the two authors. In this sense, in Spinoza it analyzes the concepts of conatus and potency, as well as the relations between body and mind, articulating them with the decisive place occupied by the affects in his theory. In Winnicott it seeks to define the place of the body seeking to link it with the experience of continuity of being. In this second context it discusses some fundamental concepts formulated by the author, such as psyche-soma, integration and personalization. In this way it also seeks to highlight the importance of the notions of life and immanence in the theories of the Dutch philosopher and the British psychoanalyst, in an attempt to substantiate coherently the notion of body-affect.

Keywords : Spinoza; Winnicott; body; affect.
