Abstract

RAUTER, Cristina  and  MAIA, Kenia Soares. Adolescent rebellion as an expression of health: resisting to stigmas and contemporary criminalization processes. Rev. Epos [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.1, pp. 56-73. ISSN 2178-700X.

The article analises the relation that has been built between adolescence and pschopathy by some tendencies in contemporary Psychology, criticizing a vision that underlines the negative and psychopathological aspects of adolescence. This view can only reproduce the stigmas that are "attached" mainly to poor and black adolescents. In a critical view, we aim to understand adolescence as a process in which contestation to predominant subjectivation modes are present and are related not do pscypathology but to health as a search for authonomy.

Keywords : adolescence; psychopathy; resistence.
