Abstract

ANDRADE, Lucas Melo Biondi de et al. Analysis of the Health Family Support Nucleus implementation within Santa Catarina. Saúde Transform. Soc. [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.1, pp. 18-31. ISSN 2178-7085.

The insertion of the Family Health Strategy (FHS) has enhanced the public primary health care in Brazil. Seeking care to the individual, family and community, the FHS works under the socio-biological health hazards perspective which often require complex and prolonged care. Thus, the Health Family Support Nucleus (HFSN) is enabling the production of FHS multidisciplinary teams of service determined by a reciprocal link work, in the form of support. The implementation of the SCFH in the region points to be shown after the understanding of how activities are performed and the result of this work for public health. Thus, it appears from the foregoing that the HFSN advocated for improvements in the service of primary health care, there are potentials to be exploited and weaknesses to be improved from its effectiveness. This research aims to understand and analyze the causes of knowledge disarticulation and services between the teams, the FHS and the HFSN. The data analysis was based on the Hermeneutic Dialectical from the qualitative research. The techniques used during the process of collecting information were individual interview (II) and focus group (FG), with non-structured questionnaire. The questionnaires were based on the FHS team daily activities, emphasizing the main action, the problems, and resolutions taken. Considerations of the disarticulation in the team, lack of training for health care, unmet demand and management disarticulation emerged on the subject of research. Such divisions, among others, put into question the FHS guiding structure in the region, and the HFSN participation in their support.
