Abstract

LINO, Murielk Motta; NORA, Poliana Therese; LINO, Monica Motta  and  FURTADO, Mariana. Occupational Health Nursing Under the Interdisciplinary View. Saúde Transform. Soc. [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.1, pp. 85-91. ISSN 2178-7085.

It is a reflection on the practice of occupational health nurse for workers within the multidisciplinary team, rooted in the concepts of public health and interdisciplinary view. Thus, we sought grounding in several references that discuss the history of occupational medicine to the current concepts of workers health, through a brief history of nursing work. Upon completion of the study, the difficulty was perceived of exercising a profession that does not have its duties regulated by a governing body. It is outside the current regulations and still has great difficulty in breaking down barriers entrenched during graduation and specialization, changing vertical and individualized knowledge to a collective and interdisciplinary work.
