DELZIOVO, Carmem Regina. Regional College of Management Challenges and Outlooks:: Report of Experience. Saúde Transform. Soc. [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.1, pp. 102-105. ISSN 2178-7085.

The managing agreement is, since 2006, establishing the regionalizing policy, and with it, the regional fora. A challenge for the cities and regions is to accomplish the established roles of the regional fora, in this case, the regional management boards. It is established on Ordinance 399 that the regional management boards must: Institute a dynamic process of regional planning; Update and monitor the integrated health care programs; Outline the regulatory process, defining fluxes and protocols; Prioritize investment lines; stimulate social control qualification strategies; Further the local planning process; constitute a dynamic process of regional evaluation and monitoring. This paper is based on the monitoring of the activities of a regional management board located on the Midwestern part of Santa Catarina from 2008 through 2010, reporting the experiences from its members towards the challenges and perspectives in the enactment of the Unified Health System (Sistema único de Saúde - SUS) inside of what has been determined by the regional agreement.
