The Human Right to Food and Nutrition (HRFN) and the Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) are subjects involved in many debates in Brazil, mainly in the scope of food and nutrition public policies. On account of bringing into their concepts the uninterrupted access to the adequate food to all the human beings, it is necessary an interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral approach to its effectively. This paper is a meta synthesis of articles that contemplate qualitative methodologies involving food and nutrition in the scope of primary care in health. Identify the different talks about food and nutrition by the HRFN and FNS point of views concerning the nutritionists practices, and others public health professionals and if this has or has not interfered in the planning and actions of food and nutrition developed in health primary care, was contemplated in this study. Search of articles in database was done. Initially 92 articles were obtained and after the application of criteria of enclosure and exclusion, turned into 43. After reading the originals, 8 articles were selected. A systematization of the information was done followed by the categorization of the main themes mentioned, the kind of study, the milestone and the reinterpretation of data analyses, originating 3 categories and 8 subcategories of analysis. A limited and fragmented argument of HRFN and FNS present in the practical of health professional, specially nutritionists was showed up. By treat of a subject of inter-sectoral character for its effectiveness, the necessity of this argument goes beyond the fields of specific knowledge of each profession, initiating with the academic formation was perceived. Furthermore, reiterate the need of definition of HRFN and FNS indexes at the health professionals places of practices and from these promote the inter-sectoral and the social control in food and nutrition.
