Abstract

SELEGHIM, Maycon Rogério; GALERA, Sueli Aparecida Frari  and  OLIVEIRA, Magda Lúcia Félix de. Study with Crack users and their families: experience report. Saúde Transform. Soc. [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.1, pp. 36-41. ISSN 2178-7085.

Given the scarcity of studies on the topic of crack use and its interface with the families, this paper aims to report some experiences during the data collection phase of research with this clientele. The reported study, a qualitative, has a theoretical general systems theory, particularly the use of the genogram to identify multigenerational aspects associated with drug use. The field journal was used in a complementary way, but considering the wealth of information found in the field, and recorded, was structured this report, which was developed from the empirical reality of the situations witnessed in the study site and observed facts. It is thought that such studies can provide subsidies for the development and improvement of future research on the topic addressed.

Keywords : Illicit Drugs; Crack; Family Relationships; Therapeutic Community.
