Abstract

It proceeded on the basis of probable significant relationship between peer pressure and alcohol consumption among students of the Course Entry Probationary a private university. The sample is selective and intentional, consisting of 159 participants of both sexes, a private university, who were administered, with informed consenthe, questionnaire Resistance to Group Pressure Alcohol Consumption (CRPG) that measures both variables. We used a correlational and comparative design. For data analysis we applied the statistical program SPSS version 15.0 and Excel 2007. The results indicate no significant relationship between the degree of peer pressure and alcohol consumption in participants.
