Abstract

CRISTALDO, Martha. The Practice of Professional Ethics: ¿Easy Teaching, Hard Applying. Eureka [online]. 2012, vol.9, n.2, pp. 228-232. ISSN 2220-9026.

Much is said about professional ethics. If ethical practice is difficult, more is when values, laws, etc. come into controversy together with situations that human beings experience. Ethics involves doing the right thing, but the question arises when faced with a problem, the practitioner has a solution favorable to the situation but against ethics. If we say professional, we mentally recreate the individual graduated, holder of a diploma; however he was a student before. Hence the work focuses on preparing the student within the ethical framework. How well prepared is the student to confront the practice of ethics, and how much qualified is to debate with himself before making the right decision.

Keywords : Ethics; Code of Ethics; Profession; Dilemma.
