GARCIA, Sara  e  CANTERO, Cynthia. Influence of entitlement in economic behavior. Eureka [online]. 2013, vol.10, n.1, pp. 68-76. ISSN 2220-9026.

The "dictator game" was used for this research, in which one person from a couple of participants gets designated as the one in charge of the administrations of a specific amount of goods between them both. The criterion used for the designation of the dictator, at the experimental group, was the entitlement in a game of trivia, and in the control group, chance. The question is: Does merit influence economic behavior? The hypothesis indicates that entitlement affects the amount the dictator is willing to give. Additionally, the study explores whether satisfaction is higher in subjects who are designated by entitlement. The sample was composed of students of the Philosophy School of the UNA, with random assignment. A ttest was used. No significant difference was found in the distribution of allocations. Reported satisfaction was the same among dictators, but not between passive participants.
