Abstract

MONTEIRO, Rebecca de Magalhães. Report of a returned interview with the children in the psychodiagnostic. Est. Inter. Psicol. [online]. 2010, vol.1, n.1, pp. 129-135. ISSN 2236-6407.

This work brings the story of a psychodiagnosis held at a psychology clinic of a private university in Belo Horizonte. The focus in this article was given the returned interview with the child, considered an intrinsic part of the psychodiagnostic. The participants in this evaluation were a child of seven years old and his parents. After the integration of collected data through testing and psychological techniques as well as interviews with the patient’s parents, an returned interview was prepared in a fun and interactive way for the child. At this stage, the child was asked to count the end of a story created especially to contextualize his experience in the psychodiagnostic. It was noted, with patient’s reports that this step is very important in the process of psychodiagnostic because it can provide the development of conflicts and finding possibilities to meet the challenges.
