Abstract

This article aimed at seeking evidence of convergent validity for the BPA - Bateria Psicológica para Avaliação da Atenção, which evaluates focused, divided and alternating attention. In order to do that, the BPA was administered with Teste de Atenção Concentrada (TEACO-FF), Teste de Atenção Dividida (TEADI) and Teste de Atenção Alternada (TEALT) to 209 subjects, ages between 10 and 64 years old, mostly females (64%). The results show significative and positive correlations, above 0.509 that indicate evidence of convergent validity to BPA.
