Resumen

MARQUES, Ana Alice Dalla Valle  y  OLIVEIRA, Rafael Wolski de. Possible contributions in psychology of family health strategy: interdisciplinarity between activities and knowledge. Est. Inter. Psicol. [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.2, pp.39-58. ISSN 2236-6407.

Psychology shows itself today as a broad field of activity covering different areas of knowledge. This study focused on the investigation of the possible contributions of psychology at the Family Health Strategy (FHS), through the understanding of an FHS team in one of the cities from Serra Gaúcha. Through the analysis of the participant observation and semi-structured interviews it emerged five categories that address the following themes: The understanding of the FHS proposal; The satisfaction over the work done; the resoluteness of the actions; the interdisciplinarity among the actions taken and the knowledge of psychology at FHS. The analysis’s results of these categories indicate the need to constantly develop new ways to promote health, able to contemplate the subject in its entirety. The role of psychology in FHS goes beyond the simplistic actions of assessment, referral and treatment. It is about amplifying possibilities to promote actions and services that are resolute and satisfactory for users and health professionals alike.

Palabras clave : psychology; health; interdisciplinarity; family.
