Abstract

The article intended to raise the debate about the phenomenon of corruption in Brazilian society. We carried out an analysis of discourses produced in the newspaper Zero Hora/RS, highlighting what is produced from them. We have as basis the Critical Hermeneutics, talking about the ideological influences, relationships of power and domination that could be presented. The influence of the media on the production of contemporary subjectivity and in the dissemination of some proposals is demonstrated. Postmodernity also brings issues that are fundamental in the understanding of the contemporaneity. It is necessary to have a dialectical view of the problems with the active participation of all those who are involved, questioning views and different thoughts, keeping a dialogue and exchanging the knowledge. It is also necessary to invest in education of the general population, so that it is possible to form a population that think and question the reality itself.
