VISIOLI, Marina Mara Martins Rodrigues; CAMPOS, Josiane Rosa; KOMATSU, André Vilela  e  BAZON, Marina Rezende. Social skills repertory and school late adolescents in conflict with the law. Est. Inter. Psicol. [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.2, pp. 118-140. ISSN 2236-6407.

Deficits in social skills (HS) are associated with problems in adolescence. Its relations with the infractions is not, however, clear. The objective of this study was to characterize the HS repertoire of offending adolescents and to compare proportions with deficient and satisfactory repertoires in: schooling, delinquent trajectory (Policy Records and Previous Judicial Measures) and context of recruitment. Data from 52 juvenile offenders were collected with the IHS-A, and compiled in services’ registry. On average, the sample had a good repertoire of HS, except for civility, assertiveness and social resourcefulness. Only 38.5% had deficit on total score. These not differentiated from those with satisfactory repertoire in schooling, delinquent trajectory and context of recruitment. There were also no significant correlations between HS and schooling and HS and delinquent trajectory. It corroborated that not all offenders have HS deficits. These may not play a crucial role in the development of juvenile delinquency.
