The present study aims to approach the subjective perception of families which children were affected by the Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The objective is to review the daily experiences and initiatives taken by these families in dealing with this kind of disorder. It was pursued a connection between family contexts and recent studies, in order to enhance the comprehension of top subjective issues and, therefore, to enlarge the knowledge of relevant aspects which impact the familiar harmony and the caregivers health. The qualitative method approach was employed, and the semi-structured interview was used as key instrument, in order to build the information on the thematic, which leads to a common view of the difficulties and strategies. It was identified that different coping strategies may contribute for the balance of family forces, with a better quality of caregiver's life.
