CASSOLI, Tiago. Humanization, psychology and laughter: Production of freedom and subjectivity processes. Rev. Polis Psique [online]. 2016, vol.6, n.2, pp. 109-133. ISSN 2238-152X.

I propose to discuss the production processes of subjectivity by Foucault's analysis of rationales policies that program interventions in hospitals with clowns. Discourses that justify and legitimize these actions are taken as sources and to analyze them, two axes were elected: the history of political and humanization practices and the history of the relationship between psychology and laughter. The relationship between these axes is evident in the description of a power strategy that seeks to produce their own criticism, to excite it in their discursive practices, and to create interventions parodying their own practices. Strategy to produce subjective processes and is justified on the principle of freedom, creating a binary reason that seeks to separate and put in opposition relationship the elements power and freedom. Question, in short, this opposition to elect the analysis clown as tactical agent of humanization policies, which, in his actions, catalyzing freedom feelings and laughter.
