This article aims to put on analysis the concept of territory in health. The reflection proposal focuses on the circumstantialities and effects which are constituted when the territory concept becomes a vector of health practices production. The territory becomes, in Health Policy, an operational concept of practices, in order to make itself an organization and connection vector of distinct elements which emerge and are estabilished in the health field. The territory shall be estabilished to beyond a border location in the Nation and shall achieve a form of a machine agency of bodies, places, relations, subjectivities, life. The discussion about territory is made from some elements of Health Policies and the notion about the security of vital systems.
