Abstract

This article discusses the emergence of the dispositive of drugs in public policies in its most contemporary aspects in the government of life and production of subjectivity. Earlier this decade there has been a significant growth of the dispositive of drugs role in public policies. Put as a social problem, the drugs have been triggered in the form of threat to life and society, as well as operationalized while government technology. This way, after a discussion about the production of knowledge, the article leads to a problematization of the dispositive of drugs in its interface with public policies, starting from the analysis of documents, news and records of the field diary of a psychology internship in the Centro de Atenção Psicossocial - Álcool e outras Drogas (CAPS-AD). Observations were also made about the forms of dispute and resistance from the mechanisms of power operating inside the dispositive of drugs
