The present work problematizes the classical notion of utopia, piercing it with the concept of profanation, as proposed by Giorgio Agamben (2007). It is a theoretical essay that seeks to restore the utopia - sacred as a project, a goal to be achieved - to common use. The proposed study faces some questions: would there be in the utopia shelter for an ethical exercise capable of enhancing processes of singularization? Had this experience, once triggered, questioned some of the lines of force that compose the hegemonic modes of subjectivation in the contemporary?
