Abstract

NICARETTA, Fernanda  and  HENNIGEN, Inês. "Send Nudes": power-knowledge games and production of subjectivity. Rev. Polis Psique [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.2, pp. 04-24. ISSN 2238-152X.

We present an article from our master´s research which focused the production of dissertations and the subjectivity related to the practice of sharing nudes through digital media, and which had as corpus materials (texts, music, videos, etc.) collected from the internet. A reading inspired by the Foucault theorizations made it possible to make problematizations about the statement "Send Nudes". In this article, we emphasize how nude's requests are proposed, composed and expressed, discussing what is triggered in their environment. Consequently, we bring the articulation of some discursive fields that operate on the body/subject when it is in question to produce and circulate nudes: related to masculine heterosexuality, to morality, to humor, to entertainment and the amateur status of photographs. We accentuate that this practice has nothing neutral, being crossed by the knowledge and forces that engender certain subjective positions, therefore, it is placed as a pertinent thematic to future studies in Social Psychology.

Keywords : Body; nude; speech; subjectivity.
