Abstract

ZAMBENEDETTI, Gustavo. Basaglian contributions in the intersection of the institutional perspective with public policies. Rev. Polis Psique [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.spe, pp. 54-74. ISSN 2238-152X.

Starting from a preoccupation with the technical perspectives and the risks related to the forms of bureaucratization of the professional activity, we propose to discuss possible contributions of Franco Baságlia in the intersection of the institutional perspective with the public policies. Taking as an analytical field the writings of Franco Basaglia of the 1960s and 1970s, we propose to explore three aspects. The first concerns the relationship between professional performance and knowledge production, highlighting the concept of professional-researcher. The second aspect highlights the relation between theory and practice, in which we seek to affirm a perspective of modulation rather than application of one over the other, also exploring the notion of critical-practice. The third aspect refers to the emergence of the Foucault effect and the Goffman effect in Basaglia. It is hoped to draw from this discussion tools that contribute to the action in the field of public policies from an institutional perspective.
