KASTRUP, Virgínia. The cartographic attention and the taste for problems. Rev. Polis Psique [online]. 2019, vol.9, n.spe, pp. 99-106. ISSN 2238-152X.

The article continues and broadens the discussion about the functioning of attention in the cartographer's work, posing the problem of the possibility of teaching cartographic attention and the invention's cognitive politics. Based on the ideas of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, it points out the need of an inventive learning to reach a concentrated and open attention to the collective plan of forces. It suggests that the possibility conditions of such learning can be created by the practice of direct contact with the forces of matter that inhabit the objects of the world and also by the practice mediated by a teacher. Using Antoine Hennion's work on the pragmatics of taste, it points out that the teacher can follow the learner's process, arousing in him the curious taste for the experience of problematization that characterizes the cartographer's work. Instead of focusing the teaching on language, it is about cultivating and sharing problematization processes involved in attention to the world and attention to oneself.
