This essay discusses the transdisciplinary perspective in psychology studies saluting the twenty years of PPGPSI of UFRGS. It celebrates what has been done in the social psychology practiced in the post-graduation program in Social Psychology of UFRGS. It affirms the importance of rigorous work of the method and our implication with the search field in contemporaneous psychology that maps the multivectorial reality in which we find ourselves. The cartography method guides the transdisciplinary approach in psychology, entwining clinic, cognition, philosophy and politics, in the effort of approaching the problems that the world we live in presents us.
