This article makes considerations about an experience with the Autonomous Management of Medication (GAM) in a CAPSad in the state of Rio Grande do Norte derived from an intervention-research based on the Institutional Analysis. The objective of this article is to perform an analysis of the GAM as a group device instrument, to analyze the GAM's potentialities for the production of social transformations and reality in the field on course of the intervention-research process itself, with emphasis on micropolitical movements, co-management and exercise of autonomy.
