In a short period of time, several descriptions of the molar implications of the COVID-19 pandemic have been generated at the economic, social and political levels. However, there are still challenges in describing how the pandemic and confinement has affected daily life. In this paper we address the configuration of the body during phases of confinement associated with the pandemic in Chile. To do so, we approach the body as an effect of heterogeneous articulations with space, situating ourselves in the means of confinement through photographs produced by people who experience it. We describe such images through diffractory analysis. The results expose the importance of the semiotic organization of space and body, the condensation of time and space, and the emergence of corporeality as an event sensitive to social and political dynamics, despite the confinement.
