RESENDE, Marina Silveira de  e  CALAZANS, Roberto. Neurosis and psychosis in ICD-10 and DSM-IV: what is ignored?. Analytica [online]. 2013, vol.2, n.3, pp. 145-174. ISSN 2316-5197.

The aim of this paper is to demonstrate how the alleged abolition of differential diagnosis neurosis and psychosis in ICD-10 and DSM-IV-TR aims to take the scene not only etiological debate, but also psychoanalytic theory. To this end we will devote ourselves to an analysis of ICD-10 and DSM-IV-TR from the etiological and historical debate around the concepts of neurosis and psychosis. With this, we end up demonstrating the predilection of these manuals transtorno the term and how it aims to silence every manifestation of evil-being of the subject.
