Abstract

BONFIM, Flávia Gaze. Desire pure Antigone: lacanian ethics and tragic dimension. Analytica [online]. 2016, vol.5, n.8, pp. 129-149. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article seeks to resume discussion of ethics posed by Lacan in Seminar 7 articulated from the Greek tragedy Antigone. For Lacan, Antigone is an illustrative figure for psychoanalysis to maintain a radical stance of "not give in to his own desire". Thus, the Lacanian teaching points us to an ethic of desire that lies beyond good and that does not resemble a system of prescriptions, being the psychoanalysis the only that set up a project of an ethics without obligation.

Keywords : Ethics; psychoanalysis; desire; tragedy; comedy.
