Abstract

SANT'ANNA, Ana Luíza Mota. The resignation of the Other in schizophrenia: a determinant factor that forbid the schizophrenic subject to participate of social exchange. Analytica [online]. 2017, vol.6, n.10, pp. 57-64. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article presents the result of a research on the psychoanalytic theory that looked for elements that could serve as tools to clarify a case, in order to help us in its conduction. The clinic case was based in psychological interviews at the Psychiatric's Department of Bias Fortes Hospital in Belo Horizonte (MG), from August 2011 to June 2012. The theoretical findings suggest that the dismissal of the Other in schizophrenia is a determinant factor that forbid the schizophrenic subject to participate of social exchange. This article intended to understand how this causal relationship works.
