People within society face a malaise resulting antagonisms between their drives satisfactions and demands of civilization. In an attempt to avoid these feelings of displeasure, humans cannot do without some action. Among them, the use of substances is one of the privileged ways to buffer this malaise. In this paper, we will highlight the (ab)use of substances and the consequent merger subject/drug. This paper aims to enrich the discussion from the contributions of psychoanalysis to clinical drug addiction theme. To move forward, we will resume the Freudian conception of addiction (Freud, 1930) that conceives it as a deadly escape route to the malaise. Sublimation is one of the methods used in psychoanalysis clinics as a possible way for drive's destination. It focuses on mergers between subject/drug towards the emergence of the subject in a less deadly way to satisfy the subjects drive. The clinic offers a place to the subject that was out before and called "Junkie" to become rehabilitated so he/she can rejoin society. Therefore the data in this study indicates that clinical psychoanalysis can use the sublimation method on a drug addicts to re-construct their needs of satisfaction in other ways without using drugs, between them, the sublimatory one.
