Abstract

SILVA, Beatriz de S.  and  CASTRO, Júlio Eduardo de. The construction of the concept of psychosis from Freud to Lacan and its implications in clinical pratice. Analytica [online]. 2018, vol.7, n.13, pp. 145-160. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article highlights the path taken by Freud and Lacan in the construction of the clinical theory of psychosis. At first, this paper outlines how Freud develops and articulates, from the theory of neurosis, the first conceptualizations of psychosis, in order to, then, emphasize the Lacanian assumptions that enabled the analysis of psychotic subjects. The central objective of this article is to articulate the construction of the theory of psychosis, from Freud to Lacan, and its clinical implications.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Psychosis; Lacan; Freud.
