Abstract

MIGUEL, João Paulo Brunelo. The subject of body-psyche frontiers on anxiety: a discussion on the Freudian anxiety neurosis category. Analytica [online]. 2019, vol.8, n.15, pp. 1-22. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article discuss the concept of anxiety in Freud's work. We consider that this concept situates the problem of frontiers between the mental and the somatic within his work. For this, we performed a historical approach of this concept, focusing on clinical reports of Freud about the anxiety neurosis as well as by certain key texts for this issue. We proceed to the analysis of the notion from a contrastive reading among manuscripts classically recognized as materials from the so called Freudian pre-psychoanalytic period to the alleged official formalization articles about of anxiety for psychoanalysis. By doing so, we ponder if even when anxiety manifestations detached in anxiety neurosis nosography is denoted as an accumulation state of physical tension, its conceptual approach allows to demonstrate some rundiments of body-psychic frontiers schemes.
