Abstract

MENDONCA, Júlia Reis da Silva  and  ROSA, Márcia. The Stabilizations in the Clinic of Psychoses and Drug Addictions. Analytica [online]. 2020, vol.9, n.16, pp. 1-30. ISSN 2316-5197.

This work aims to discuss the different modes of stabilization in the clinic of psychosis and drug addictions for Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis. Against the biological orientation of Psychiatry considers drug addiction and psychosis as distinct disorders and advocates abstinence from drug use as a condition of treatment, Psychoanalysis suggests that the diagnosis and management of treatment should be drawn from the role of research of the use of drugs in the economy of enjoyment of each subject, according to its clinical structure, which points to the possibility of imaginary identification with the signifier "I am a drug addict" to stabilize the psychosis when it is able to locate or appease the joy.

Keywords : Stabilization; Psychosis; Drug addictions.
