Child sexual abuse is an act of violence against the child by someone in a more developed psychosexual stage, which may leave marks in the dynamics of the psyche and generate unconscious emotions. Because it does not only involve physical contact, it is difficult to recognize this violation, which can be revealed by playing in the therapeutic setting. This study aims to analyze the indication of sexual abuse reported by the playing of a child in psychoanalytic psychotherapy sessions. From evenly-suspended readings of the reports described by the psychotherapist who attended the case and the feelings and emotions aroused in researchers, we sought the construction of clinical facts, which allow a phenomenon manifested in the clinic to be studied and better understood. The results of this study indicate that the child's playing in the clinical context has communicated to the psychotherapist a request for care of her secrets and sufferings. This allowed the child to reveal the abuse suffered, favoring the work of her emotions.
