The subject while an analytical category represents in Lacan's teaching the result of and intersection between psychoanalysis and philosophy, as well as his theory of desire holds a privileged characteristic in psychoanalytical incursion (clinical-theoretical) in the philosophical field, specifically in the Hegelian dialectics of recognition. One can notice, with that, how the lacanian teaching tradition about the conceptualization of the subject crosses philosophical influences, starting with Descartes, passing through Kant and Hegel and ending up in Heidegger, what highlights, decisively, that Lacan entered the discussion through the backdoor. In effect, his subversive gesture consisted of considering that the Freudian subject is the Cartesian subject taken in its reverse or, in other words, split and mutilated between the utterance chain (reducible to the sense) and the enunciation chain (open to the nonsense). Thus, the subject split by the language appears as a product of the symbolic - that formats the imaginary, structuring reality - that holds, therefore, an extimate relation with the jouissance that concerns the body, in the extent to which through repetition and insistence it appears as a response of the Real.
