Resumen

QUINTELLA, Rogerio. The Denial in Issue in Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Analytica [online]. 2020, vol.9, n.17, pp. 1-24. ISSN 2316-5197.

In this article, I situate the matter of denial of deprivation in contemporary psychoanalysis, initially presenting various theorizations about the impulsive-compulsive and drug addiction symptoms supposedly linked to the primary denial of castration and perversion. Through the distinction between castration and deprivation, I propose a distinct path, deepening the idea of a contemporary denial of deprivation that takes the passage from the second to the third Oedipal period as the core of the matter. Advance trying to demonstrate that they are responses to the imperative of jouissance in the consumer society, linked to the denial of child deprivation. The goods/latusas thought by Marx and Lacan put the subject in the position of possessor-object before the imperatives of jouissance. Contemporary symptoms are ways for the subject to put an end to this, hindering the jouissance of the Other in this gear, quite different from the perversion that aims to guarantee the jouissance of the Other.

Palabras clave : Contemporary; Denial of deprivation; Denial of castration; Perversion; Neurosis.
