Abstract

SOUZA, Cláudio Dutra de. Marx, Freud, Lacan and the Politics: from the Critical Theory to the Slovenian School Of Psychoanalysis. Analytica [online]. 2021, vol.10, n.18, pp. 1-21. ISSN 2316-5197.

The present work proposes the rescue of some of the main critical theorists related to the Frankfurt School and its relation with the psychoanalysis and the Marxism in the first half of the twentieth century. This "first return to Freud", according to Slavoj Žižek, precedes a subsequent Lacanian reading, and both retake the power of psychoanalysis and expand it to other fields, such as philosophy, art, and politics. It is in this sense that we will present, in the second half of this article, the "Slovenian School of Psychoanalysis" and some of its main thinkers, which we understand as the heir of the frankfurtian intellectual diversity highlighting its contemporary interfaces with lacanism. In this sense, questions such as ideology, pop culture and politics will play a prominent role in the analysis of the Slovein School in its resumption of the Freudian concept of malaise in agreement with the Zeitgeist of the twenty first century.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; Critical Theory; Slavoj Žižek; Slovenian School.
