Abstract

NUNES, Waléria. Rapture and ecstasy in Clarice Lispector. Analytica [online]. 2021, vol.10, n.19, pp. 1-15. ISSN 2316-5197.

The article aims to present the concept of devastation in psychoanalysis and how it is linked to the experience of ecstasy and rapture. To this end, we followed the path from Freud to Lacan to contemporary theorists of psychoanalysis. Devastation involves a phallic face linked to the claim of maternal desire. And another not-all phallic face in relation to the lack of significant to designate the woman in the unconscious. The devastation in the field of female jouissance may present itself to the subject as a rapture or an ecstasy of the body that cannot be symbolized. In the literature of Clarice Lispector we cut out this written experience and a possible solution from the experience of rapture through the concept of letter of Jacques Lacan.

Keywords : Devastation; Feminine enjoyment; Literature; Clarice Lispector.
