Abstract

INACIO, Amanda Lays Monteiro; SEI, Maíra Bonafé; OLIVEIRA, Katya Luciane de  and  BURIOLLA, Hellen Lima. Research in Psychoanalysis: National Production in Scientific Journals (2004-2018). Analytica [online]. 2022, vol.11, n.20, pp. 1-19. ISSN 2316-5197.

This research aimed to analyze the characteristics of scientific production in the psychoanalytic context, focusing on fifteen years of publications (2004 to 2018) in nine scientific journals with Qualis A1 and A2 classification. The data analysis was based on criteria derived from metacience: authorship, thematic, discourse and analysis of the types of resources. Of the 5,786 articles found, 654 belonged to the scope of psychoanalysis, and the results showed that there are journals with a greater concentration of publications in this area, with a certain variation in the number of articles over the years analyzed. There was a predominance of female participation in the authorship of productions, and in the amount of research carried out in public institutions in the Southeast and South regions of Brazil. Freud was the most cited author, with a predominance of articles of a theoretical nature. It was possible to conclude the existence of an increase in scientific production in psychoanalysis, which, even on a small scale, reveals the maturity of the area over the years. Future investigations should continue this mapping and investigate other aspects relevant to the psychoanalytic context.

Keywords : Metascience; Scientific production; Psychoanalysis.
