Abstract

ANUNCIACAO, Christopher Rodrigues  and  ESTEVAO, Ivan Ramos. Tatics, Strategy and Politic: Debate about the Power in Foucault and Lacan. Analytica [online]. 2022, vol.11, n.20, pp. 1-21. ISSN 2316-5197.

This article intends to develop a problematization between the genealogy of power in Foucault and the text "The direction of treatment and the principles of its power", by Jacques Lacan, privileging the theme of the "war vocabulary" present in the two authors, mainly through tactics, strategy and politics, under the influence of Clausewitz's militarism. The analysis of power in Foucault from the 1970s will be presented, where the author's genealogical phase and the historical context of the production of the text "The direction of treatment" in Lacan is located, pointing to the problem of power in the institutional political context of psychoanalysis in season. In both Foucault and Lacan, this analysis was touched by the war vocabulary in terms of tactics and strategy. It was noticed that the point of convergence between them is how the notions of tactics and strategy serve to describe power, whether in the most diverse forms of relationship presented by Foucault, or in the analytical situation described by Lacan. It also demonstrates how the notions of tactics, strategy and politics were important to reinstate the problem of power in the field of psychoanalysis and how the genealogy in Foucault can attend this debate, restoring the political status of Lacanian criticism at the same time that it puts in perspective the ethics of psychoanalysis.

Keywords : Jacques Lacan; Michel Foucault; Power; Genealogy; Direction of treatment.
