Abstract

ROMAN, Carlos Barría. Sexuality, subjectivity and politics, essay about the pedophile subjet. Rev. Sul-Am. Psicol. [online]. 2013, vol.1, n.1, pp. 63-80. ISSN 2318-650X.

The present work is a theoretical essay that seeks to account for the relationship between the discursive practices of sexuality and to progressively develop new subjectivities. It is proposed that the discursive practices about what can or should be sexuality, ranging dialectically between essentialist arguments and arguments historicist-as our Western thought-matrix, while bringing forth new types of subjects that are forming as political actors, which in turn contribute to a growing politicization of sexuality. We discuss the recent social use has occurred in Chile to the category of classification of pedophilia, to account for the construction of a new type of subject, following the path taken by the gay movement, could eventually become a political subject that requires rights. This situation has begun to be seen in countries like Holland, so we installed an agenda of political and ethical reflection on sexual diversity, for how we respond to the new configurations of subjectivity

Keywords : Sexuality; Subjectivity; Pedophilia.
