Abstract

NICODEMOS, Julio Cesar de Oliveira. Los “extraños en la ciudad”: la clínica y la atención psicosocial en un caso de vulnerabilidad social. Desidades [online]. 2019, n.22, pp. 23-32. ISSN 2318-9282.

This article discusses the constitution of segregational devices developed in the polis through areas of knowledges operated by professionals in several institutions that care for adolescents in situations of psycho-social vulnerability, transforming these adolescents in “strangers to the city”. We will demonstrate how a clinical-political practice can emerge from listening to each of these adolescents, as a resource of resistance against this process, allowing each person  to relaunch themselves in the world and in social ties through characterizations other than those imposed my such areas of knowledge (delinquents, chemical substance addicts, dangerous, etc.). We will illustrate this process with the case study of a psychotic subject, cared for by the Child and Adolescent Reference Team for the counsel of Alcohol and Drug abuse (ERIJAD).

Keywords : segregation; clinical-political; adolescents; socio-educational measures.
