Abstract

GUZMAN, Annaliesse Hurtado. Youth in marginal spaces: a methodological approach. Desidades [online]. 2020, n.27, pp. 50-62. ISSN 2318-9282.

This article reflects on some folds of the social research experience. From an ethnographic approach, it seeks to problematize the place of the researcher in the very process of knowledge production in contact with young people who live in marginalized conditions. Theoretical contributions on involvement from the psychosocial perspective, reflexivity in ethnographic work, as well as contributions from philosophy are taken up again. This allows the discussion on the construction of knowledge and social realities through the relationship with this young subject, which opens the way to inserted social phenomena. Such condition allowed me to follow the reflection about not only my position as a researcher and the relationship with my research subject, but also the network of elements that are ready at the moment of making such intervention-research.

Keywords : involvement; marginality; youth; collective.
