Resumen

OLIVEIRA, Leonardo Ribeiro Gonšalves de; COMARA, Leonardo  y  CANAVRZ, Fernanda. Boys don't cry: study on a case of child sexual abuse. Desidades [online]. 2021, n.29, pp. 151-167. ISSN 2318-9282.

ABSTRACT This article aims to discuss the difficulties that may arise in the follow-up of children involved in abusive relationships. To this end, a case study was carried out in order to answer how the case of a child victim of sexual abuse attended by CREAS (specialized service of the Childhood Protection Public Policy) was followed up in a medium-sized municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro. This study, of a single case, was elaborated according to the foundations of the revealing case. Ferenczian trauma theory was used as a theoretical framework for analysis of the data. The study pointed out the importance of meetings to discuss cases on the network as a way of diluting, through the debate about the different perceptions, the defense mechanisms of professionals in the face of the horror of violence. Ferenczi's reading points out that, in caring for children who are abused, a stance of recognizing vulnerability is fundamental, but it appears not to be enough. The specific case studied indicated that it's not be possible to speak of recognizing the infants suffering without this being linked to urgent attempts at reparations that permanently interrupt the cycle of violence.

Palabras clave : child abuse; public policy; psychoanalysis; trauma theory; Ferenczi.
