Abstract

SILVA, Magali Milene. The proposal of the speeches as structural reading for the new symptoms. Rev. Subj. [online]. 2018, vol.18, n.1, pp. 68-78. ISSN 2359-0769.  http://dx.doi.org/10.5020/23590777.rs.v18i1.7251.

The article aims to present the Lacanian speeches proposal as a tool for reading contemporary symptomatic presentations, seeking to discuss elements from the new symptoms in university speeches. In this course, we present proposals for reading the new symptoms by other theoretical operators, indicating the speeches as more adequate. Returning to the Freudian notion of the symptom as an unconscious defense and the Lacanian subject reading as the name of this effect, we propose the notion of new clinical manifestations conveyed by discursive preferences to the detriment of the notion of new symptoms. We situate the Lacanian proposal of the speeches and discuss the specificities and consequences of the university speeches for the emergence of the symptom in the social bond. Finally, we point out the importance of sustaining the discourse of the analyst, rescuing his subversive side and calling for the discursive movement.

Keywords : speeches; psychoanalysis; Lacan; new symptoms.
