The present study aims to analyze the state of the art of the relations between Psychoanalysis and mental health, especially the clinical practices carried out in the Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS). Academic productions of ten (10) Brazilian stricto sensu psychology programs, from 2000 to 2014, are considered as academic productions that have a line of research in Psychoanalysis in the curriculum. It seeks to list and reflect on the effects of discourses and practices referred to in these spaces taking into account the changes that have occurred in the fields of Brazilian psychiatric reform. For this, we counted on 111 abstracts of works selected from the criteria established in the research. To support the analysis of the selected content, Iramuteq software was used. From the hierarchical descending classification (CHD) analysis, the results identified the presence of five distinct classes: (1) a new assistance model; (2) the madness in question; (3) Psychoanalysis in the CAPS - construction of the clinical case; (4) psychoanalytic theory and (5) the place of the subject in the clinic. The results indicated that, when analyzing the classes based on the relation presented, it is possible to gather the content in three large interpretive groups: classes 1 and 2, classes 3 and 4 and class 5, with this set reflecting the contributions of Psychoanalysis to the field of Health Mental. The findings of this study reflect the breadth of what has been produced on this theme and the clinical practices that derive from the insertion of analysts in this context, demonstrating the presence of Psychoanalysis in the university environment and the contributions made to the field of mental health.
