The objective of this article is to consider the psychic aspects of the subject suffering who arrives at the hospital reporting or presenting types of physical injury in the body. This perspective goes through the definition of clinical urgency in the field of hospital health care. To this end, we present to psychologists and workers, inserted in hospitals and who have an interest in listening to the subject of suffering, a position on a technical-theoretical and ethical-political horizon based on Freud and Lacan's Psychoanalysis orientation. In the hospital, conceptions of disease, treatment and diagnosis are considered, a priori, by a team of doctors and nurses, as a biological factor of the human. In medical discourse, the subject becomes object and passive to his condition of "sick." Backed by the notions of subject and subjectivity, the psychologist, wary of psychoanalysis, bets and apprehends, through experience in a Unit of Care, the possibility, in this context, of a direction of treatment that is not exclusive to the subject of the unconscious. Thus, when the subject speaks of his history, of what distresses and scares him the most, when he perceives his health affected by an accident, he can relocate himself in the face of "illness."
